SIEMENPUU AND THE WORLD SOCIAL FORUM

Siemenpuu Foundation commissioned a study on the World Social Forum to inform the organisation on the processes and workings of the WSF. The study first describes the WSF process including important current issues and debates. A description of the WSF Africa process is given. The study then looks at the past experiences of Siemenpuu and the WSF process and also has a closer look at the environmental issues within the WSF. The report also explores the future challenges to participating in the WSF process. The study concludes by putting forward concrete recommendations and further suggestions for consideration by Siemenpuu Foundation.
